| One of the newest municipalities in Miami Dade County incorporated since 1996 and located south of Miami is the Village of Pinecrest, an affluent community surrounded by lush subtropical foliage secluded from the hustle and bustle of Miami.

In addition, the community has lay out big plans for its future and recently held the ground-breaking ceremony of its community center and library scheduled to be completed in 2008.
Upscale shopping centers bordering the western side of the village adds to the convenience of the peaceful upscale environment of Pinecrest and the close proximity to well known shopping malls like Dadeland Mall and the Falls makes Pinecrest a highly sough after neighborhood.
